Tom (Big Tom) O’Donoghue

Peacefully on Tuesday

25th August 2026,

in the tender care of the nurses and

staff of Portiuncula hospital, Ballinasloe.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Maeve, infant son Tiernan and his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his loving sons Tom, Sean and Martin, daughter Catherine, sister Therese (London) and Josie (Canada), Sean’s fiancée Danielle, Martin’s partner Hannah, grandchildren Jessica and Alexandra, in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
