Peacefully on 11th. February 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family

Willow Cottage, Curnaseer, Kiltoom, Co. Roscommon,

Late of the ‘Green Olive’ Ballymahon Road, Athlone and formerly of Glasnevin, Dublin.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband, David. Deeply regretted by her sons Kieran, Declan, & Damien; daughters Helen (O’Briain) & Bernadette (Breen); sisters Fionnuala, Emer, and Deirdre (all Dublin); brothers, Seán (Canada) and Gerry (Bellewstown); her devoted Carer, Azisa Christal to whom we are forever grateful; daughters-in law; sons in law; her beloved grandchildren; nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her father, Con & mother, Alice; brothers, Brendan and Con; sisters Máire & Sr. Bernadette.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone this Thursday (13th) evening from 18:30 to 20:00.

Requiem Mass in the Church Of The Risen Christ, Ballybay at 2 o’clock on Friday afternoon with Burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery.

The family very much appreciate all the dedicated care provided to Mam over the last few years in particular Fr. McManus and the local parish office, the caring staff of Right At Home, Ruth Wallace and the Monksland Public Health team, the team at Dr. Lowry’s, all the staff at Concannon’s pharmacy, the staff at the Memory Clinic in Roscommon University Hospital, and the Irish Cancer Society who provided palliative care to Mam on her last day.
