Peacefully in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone on Wednesday 5th March 2025 and formerly of Milford, Creggs, Co. Galway and California, USA.

Predeceased by her parents Lily and Patrick, her brothers Padraig, Jimmy and Brian and her niece Marie Claire. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Margaret Murray (Moate), Sr. Claire (Dún Mhuire) and Sr. Betty (Roscommon), sisters-in-law Catherine and Nora, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, Sisters of Mercy Western Province and many friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Dún Mhuire, Lyster Street, Athlone (N37 E3V5) on Friday evening from 4pm with evening prayers at 5-15pm followed by removal to S.S. Peter & Paul’s Church, arriving at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 3pm in S.S. Peter & Paul’s Church followed by burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery, Summerhill, Athlone (N37 AH97).
