Peacefully, on Tuesday 2nd September, 2025,

in the tender care of the nurses and staff

of St. Vincent’s Care Centre, Athlone.

Creggan, Moate Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

and formerly of Ballinahown, Co. Offaly.

Predeceased by his sister Sis (Gunning), brother Peter and his son Tony. Sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughter Mairead, son Martin, brother Tommy, daughter-in-law Sandra, Mairead’s partner Danny, grandchildren Arlena, Shane, Alex and Charlie, great-granddaughter Lauren, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday in St. Mary’s Church, Athlone at 10.30am followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
