Karen Paula-Ann Reid

Karen passed away peacefully and gently, as the bells of St Peter’s Church chimed 4pm on 12th July 2025, surrounded by her devoted son and loving family and the incredible team at St. Vincent’s Hospice, Athlone.

Predeceased by her mother Marie Francoise, sister Samantha and brothers Paul and Gary.

Forever missed by her son Ryan, dad Tom and step-mum Mary, step-dad John and wife Mavis, her sisters Grace, Marianna, Dawn and Tanya, brothers Karl, Alun and Vivian, brothers-in-law Marc and John, nieces Simone, Alannah and Amireh, nephews Kane and Milo, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence (Graveyard House, Cornamagh | N37 A9N6) on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm.

Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Athlone on Thursday at 10.30am followed by burial afterwards in Cornamagh Cemetery.

Black attire and lots of tears please. She’ll be watching!
