Liam passed away peacefully on Tuesday 22nd September 2026

at Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone, after a long illness bravely borne.

Old Tuam Road, Monksland,

Late of Bogganfin, Roscommon Road, (Liam O’Brien Transport)

and formerly of Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Audrey, parents William and Julia, siblings Paudge, Vincent, Mona, Hugh, Jacinta, Eymard and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Natasha, sisters Maureen and Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone (N37 WY17) on Thursday from 4pm until 6pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am in the Church of S.S. Peter & Paul, Athlone (N37 AK84) followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
