Rosemary Rowe (née Browne)

Garnafailagh, Athlone & formerly of Baylin, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

Peacefully on Sunday 25th October 2026,

with her loving family by her side, while in the wonderful care

of the staff of Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe.

Predeceased by her parents John and Dot and brother Tony. It is with heavy hearts, she will be sorely missed by her loving husband Paul, sons John and Mark, daughter-in-law Aisling, John’s partner Ester, her sister Magdalen (Dunne), brothers Liam, Joe, Frank and Ted and extended family friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand (N37 WY17) on Wednesday evening from 6-30pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan (N37 XY95) on Thursday at 10-30am followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired in lieu to Athlone Meals on Wheels.
