Peacefully on Thursday 20th August 2026 after a short illness

Esker Park, Arcadia, Athlone and formerly of Sarsfield Square, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

Predeceased by his son Eoin (Digger), mother Nuala, father Eoin, brothers Eoinroe and Brendan, parents-in-law Miko and Eileen Gaffey. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Michelle, wife Sandra, brother Terry (London), sisters Ursula (London), Collette, Laura and Hillary, aunts, Lucy (Warby) and Mary (O’Neill) and his best friend Billy Furey, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his daughters residence (24 Esker Park, Arcadia, Athlone) on Friday from 3pm until 7pm. (House Private Outside These Hours Please) Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church on Saturday at 10:30am followed by burial afterwards in Cornamagh Cemetery.
