Peacefully on Monday 21st September 2026.

Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone, late of St. Mel’s Terrace, Athlone, Co. Westmeath & formerly of Geesala, Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen, beloved brothers John and PJ and nephew Patrick. She will be loved and dearly missed by her La Sainte Union sisters. Auntie Phyllis will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her loving nieces Angela, Deirdre, Karen, Olive, Phyllis, Audrey and Frances, nephews in law, grand nieces and nephews and her many cherished friends.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone (N37 WY17) on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church (N37 XP66) at 11am on Thursday followed by burial afterwards in the Bower Cemetery.
